I captured this scene in Kerrville, Texas in November 2021. It was so peaceful. Since the floods of July 4th, I see this painting so differently- with a sadness but still beauty. In the aftermath I saw the violence and destruction this river was able to conjure and it reminds me of the Bible scripture Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
